The citation policy of Alkej involves some important points that each author must follow as indicated below:
1. The published materials must be clearly cited by the authors even though their own work.
2. The authors must be kept away from extra self-citation.
3. For proper citation process, authors have to read the cited reference before involving it within the reference list.
4. The authors must be far away from citation of his friends or institutions’ published materials.
5. Based on the COPE regulations, the original statements taken form published materials must be placed between two quotation marks.
