Al-Khwarizmi Engineering Journal (ALKEJ) is published by the Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering – University of Baghdad since 2005. AL Khwarizmi College of Engineering published the first issue of Al-Khwarizmi Engineering Journal (ALKEJ) which is an international open access, peer reviewed online journal and its published quarterly, devoted to publish original research and developments in all fields of engineering, which include: Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Mechatronics, Biochemical, Information Technology and Communications and Manufacturing and Automation Engineering. Papers should report novel and significant advances in one or more of the engineering topics.
The journal received four acknowledgment letters from the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017 for being the best peer-reviewed journal in Iraq.
Aims:
Al-Khwarizmi Engineering Journal (Print ISSN: 1818-1171, Electronics ISSN: 2312-0789) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes reviews and research articles in the field of modern engineering disciplines. Our aim is to encourage researchers to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided.

Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like do arise. Therefore, Al-Khwarizmi Engineering Journal takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously, and our trained editors proceed in such cases with a zero-tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use Turnitin to check submissions against previous publications.
